Bring the excitement of dance to your school with Stars of the Stage, a 6-12 week in-school dance program designed for students of all dance levels! Whether your students are beginners or have more experience, each class will receive individual choreography and their own unique song to learn and perform, ensuring that every group has a personalized and enjoyable experience. Following the Ontario dance curriculum with a fun and energetic program, students will build confidence, improve their dance skills, and have a blast performing! With styles including Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, and Jazz, there’s something for every student to enjoy. At the end of the program, students will showcase their hard work in a high-energy performance!

6 Week Programs

King of the Forest Hip Hop

 A popular musical movie rewritten for a Hip Hop Showcase. Students will learn fun, high-energy hip hop choreography to the music of this creative show, bringing the forest and its characters to life!

90s Hip Hop

Take students on a journey back to the 90s with hip hop moves and songs from this iconic era. They’ll enjoy learning classic dance moves to the music that defined the decade.

Holiday Show (Jazz, Hip Hop, or Musical Theatre)

Celebrate the holiday season with a themed performance! Students can learn festive choreography in Jazz, Hip Hop, or Musical Theatre style, with popular holiday songs to make it extra special.

Hip Hop or Popular Musical Theatre Songs

Students can choose to dance to today’s popular pop music in Hip Hop style or learn choreographed routines to well-loved Musical Theatre songs! Either option will offer energetic choreography and fun music that everyone will enjoy.

  • Laser Light Show to make the performance extra exciting!

  • Performance Banner for a memorable show!

  • Final Performance on the last day of class!

  • Stars of the Stage T-shirt for the performance! (given on the last day)

  • Rubrics based on the Ontario Dance Curriculum - following the curriculum makes it easy to grade for teachers!

  • Progress Cards (provided in the 3rd week) to track students' progress and celebrate their achievements!

Performance Opportunity!

At the end of the 6-week program, students will showcase everything they've learned in a performance. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate their hard work and accomplishments in front of their peers, parents, and school staff!

A Magical Drama Program for Primary Grades

Step into a story and bring it to life!
In Once Upon a Stage, students dive into the world of classic fairy tales through drama-based workshops that build confidence, creativity, and character. Using role play, guided improvisation, and storytelling, students explore emotion, voice, and movement while learning how to bring beloved stories to life on stage.

Each session encourages students to:

  • Trained and professional dance instructors will come to do a 6-week dance program (hip-hop, musical theatre) at your school, working with the students and providing teachers with a progress performance card they can use for reporting purposes. James Meltz, has worked with students for many years. He is incredibly talented, patient and the students connect with him instantaneously! It is a great DANCE program to invest in!
