Stars of the Stage: Musical Theatre Program – Aladdin | January - June

🕌 A whole new world awaits!
Join us for a magical musical adventure in our full-scale production of Aladdin! This beloved Broadway-style musical comes to life with unforgettable characters, catchy songs, and dazzling choreography. Students will perform the entire show, complete with costumes, set design, and full staging.

Ages: 6 – 12 (Grades 1 – 7)
Rehearsals: Tuesdays, starting January 2026
Location: 28 South Unionville Ave, Markham
Final Performance: June 2026

🎶 Students will:

  • Rehearse weekly in singing, acting, and dance

  • Learn exciting choreography and stage direction

  • Build confidence and teamwork through rehearsal

  • Perform in a fully staged musical production in June 2026

✨ Schedule & Pricing:

  • Ages 8 & under: Tuesdays 6:00 – 7:30 PM | $175/month + tax

  • Ages 9 & up: Tuesdays 6:00 – 8:30 PM | $300/month + tax

  • All performers: One-time $300 performance fee (covers costumes, sets, theatre rental, etc.)

🌟 Whether your child is stepping on stage for the first time or ready for a lead role, Aladdin is the perfect opportunity to shine!

📣 Spots are limited – register now to secure your role!

Additional Information:

  • Performance Fee: $300 (billed at a later date, covering costumes, sets, and performance costs)

  • Online Singing Lesson: Every student gets a one-on-one online singing lesson with Mr. James to perfect their vocal skills.

Mr. Gabe

Mr Gabe is a multi-instrumentalist and music teacher currently residing in Toronto, Ontario. Gabriel grew up in the friendly rural community of Eastend, Saskatchewan, eventually moving to Toronto for post-secondary school. With a degree in Mathematics and Philosophy, along with experience as a piano/musical theatre teacher, a personal tutor, and a calculus teaching assistant with the University of Toronto, Gabriel loves working with a wide range of personalities and learning-styles. Along with this experience, he is often described as characteristically patient and understanding in pedagogical contexts. Gabriel gets his love of teaching from working alongside young learners—helping to explore their passions and fostering excitement while cultivating future skill-development. He especially loves teaching children, as their unique and ever-evolving perspectives mean that no two classes are ever the same, allowing for new exciting, rewarding, and fun experiences in every lesson. When he is not teaching, you will find Gabriel playing Scriabin on the piano, reading classic literature, or working on his next multi-instrumental cover project.

Ms. Azaria

Ms Azaria is a multi disciplinary artist based in Toronto, and a graduate of the musical theatre program at Randolph College for the Performing Arts. She is extensively trained in dance, music, acting and, vocal performance. Working professionally in the theatre industry all over the GTA, Azaria brings fervour and drive to every project she touches. She has always had a commitment to sharing art with the next generation, teaching dance and theatre to children for over 10 years now. Her foundation in musical theatre allows her to bring the fun of performance to all music and dance curriculums and allow for expression both onstage and off. She sees the power in bringing art to young people to help them find their confidence, make new friends, and gain skills that they will take with them throughout the rest of their lives. What sets Azaria apart is her passion for her craft and sharing that with people who need it most.

Ms. Briana

Ms.Briana is a versatile dancer and choreographer currently pursuing a Double Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and Psychology at York University. With extensive training in contemporary, modern, ballet, jazz, acrobatics, lyrical, hip-hop, musical theatre, and many more. She has mastered techniques including Limón, Graham, Dunham, DMA Jazz, Acrobatic Arts Syllabus, R.A.D, Vaganova, and Cecchetti. Briana was a member of World Performers Canada and competed at the Dance World Cup in Portugal (2023), won Senior Miss Soloist at Candance Competition (2021), and improvisation contest winner at Inferno Dance U.S.A Nationals (2019). She has performed in numerous professional settings, including Canada’s Wonderland. As a choreographer, she has created works for York University's Dance Innovations and Third Year Choreography Shows. Briana’s passion for teaching dance is undeniable. She embraces every opportunity to share her love for the art (regardless of age or ability), believing that dance should come from the heart and be a source of joy. Her dedication shines through in every class, as she strives to ensure that each dancer leaves feeling inspired and connected to the art.

Ms. Dashawna

Ms. Dashawna is a passionate and dedicated dance educator who loves helping kids discover what they’re truly capable of. With a degree in psychology and over a decade of teaching experience, she brings a unique blend of emotional insight and technical skill to every class. From Studio 55 to Camp Robinhood to her own former studio, Dashawna has inspired countless students to grow in confidence, express themselves freely, and fall in love with dance. Her teaching style is rooted in positivity, encouragement, and joy. She believes that kids learn best when they feel safe to make mistakes, explore new things, and truly have fun. Rather than relying on pressure or criticism, Dashawna motivates her students through support, laughter, and genuine belief in their potential. Her mission is to create a space where every child feels seen, empowered, and excited to shine—on and off the dance floor.

Ms. Dani

Dani is a multi-hyphenate creative who has been making magic as performer, writer and educator in the Toronto entertainment industry for the last decade. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Windsor and a recent Puppetry Apprentice of Bread and Puppet. Dani is an accomplished puppeteer for both screen and stage for audiences of all ages. It is her mission to infuse magic, healing and play into every avenue of her creative endeavors.
