At Stars of the Stage, we do things a little differently and you’ll feel it the moment you walk through our doors. We’re not just about steps and technique (although we take that seriously too!). We’re about building confidence, personality and performers who shine. Founded by Mr. James, Meltz, a dynamic performer with over 25 years of experience, Stars of the Stage creates a safe and nurturing space where kids from 18 months to 18 years old can discover their spark, grow their skills and truly feel like they belong.
From Hip Hop and Acrobatics to Jazz, Ballet, K-Pop, and even full Musical Theatre productions, all of our programs are designed to challenge students at their own pace while keeping the energy high and the environment warm. Our team of professional, industry-trained instructors bring humour, heart and genuine care to every single class. We believe kids learn best when they’re smiling, laughing and feeling like stars.
Plus, we are pleased to present two spectacular showcase performances each year, one in December and one in June, where students take the stage and show the world exactly what they’re made of.

We offer a wide range of classes including Hip Hop, Break Dance, Acro, Jazz, Ballet, K-Pop, Parent and Tot, Musical Theatre, and more. We also offer School Programs, Summer Programs and Private lessons in Vocal, Acting & Audition Prep. We also have summer partnerships with Camp Walden and Camp Robin Hood. We welcome students from 18 months all the way up to 18 years old. Whether your little one is just finding their footing or your teen is ready to level up their performance skills, we’ve got a class for them.

Not at all! Whether it’s your child’s very first class or they’ve been dancing for years, every level is welcomed and celebrated. Our instructors are skilled at meeting students exactly where they are and helping them grow from there.
